BATA, EQUATORIAL GUINEA - The second matches in Group A kick off on Wednesday as co-hosts Equatorial Guinea look to build on their opening match victory with a positive result against one of the pre-tournament favourites; Senegal. The home side are quoted at best odds of 5/1 (bet £10 to make £50 profit) with BetVictor to gain another win and have one foot in the quarter finals. Senegal will be determined not to crash out at this early stage and can be backed at best odds of 3/4 at 888 Sport and Blue Square to claim the three points. The draw is a top priced 13/5 shot at Stan James and BetVictor.
The co-hosts will be hoping for another vociferous home crowd to help them along in what is likely to be the toughest match of the group stage for them. Equatorial Guinea will be delighted with their start in their first ever Africa Cup of Nations and with the chance of qualification not out of the question the pressure is on the hosts to perform.
Senegal have so much quality going forward that they will likely cause Equatorial Guinea plenty of problems. While their attack is strong the Lions of Teranga's defence proved to be slightly fragile during the early stages against Zambia and they will have to be wary of any more slip ups on Wednesday.
In the over/under betting market over 2.5 goals in the match is a top priced 6/4 shot at William Hill, whilst under 2.5 can be backed at best odds of 8/13 at bet365 and BetVictor.
Newcastle United strikers Demba Ba and Papiss Cissé head the first goalscorer betting and both can be backed at best odds of 5/1 at Skybet and Sportingbet to score the first goal of the game. Equatorial Guinea captain and Deportivo la Coruna forward Rodolfo Bodipo is quoted at best odds of 10/1 at BetVictor.
Senegal are best priced at 19/10 with William Hill to win the match after leading at half-time, with draw/Senegal quoted at best odds of 100/30 at Paddy Power and BetVictor. Equatorial Guinea/Equatorial Guinea is top priced at 9/1 with Betfred and Stan James, whilst draw/Equatorial Guinea is a point longer at 10/1 with bet365 and totesport.
The match kicks off at 1900 GMT and is live on Eurosport
