Championship football betting - Crystal Palace vs Bristol City

Paul Hart`s first game in charge of Crystal Palace ended in a 1-0 win over Sheffield United on Saturday. The cash-strapped side, who lost manager Neil Warnock to rivals QPR, will hope for a similar result and performance tonight as they look to put some distance between them and the drop zone. Palace are currently twentieth in the Championship after their financial issues cost them a ten-point deduction and are out of the bottom three only on goal difference.

City`s best hope of scoring the first goal of the match is seen to be Nicky Maynard, also at 7/1, ahead of Chris Iwelumo, on loan from Wolves, at 17/2 with Bet365.

Crystal Palace are 5/2 with Stan James to lead tonight at both half-time and full-time and 9/2 to win the match after drawing at half-time. The bookmakers offer 4/1 that both halves end in a draw and Bristol City are 7/1 to be winning at both the interval and the final whistle. Draw/Bristol City is available at 8/1.
