Coppa Italia: AC Milan vs Lazio Odds and Betting Preview

MILAN, ITALY - League leaders AC Milan host Lazio this evening in the quarter-final of the Coppa Italia, Italy's biggest domestic cup competition. Milan are just odds-on to beat the side from Italy's capital city, at 19/20 (bet £20 to win £19) on Betfair to win the game in 90 minutes and about 4/5 with most other firms. Lazio, who are one of the success stories of this season's Serie A, are 4/1 with Coral and Bet Victor to overcome the Rossoneri. After they met earlier in the season at the San Siro and Lazio held them to a draw, it may be worth looking into the draw at a price of 5/2, a best offer with Bet365.
That day the score was 2-2, and it is 16/1 with Bet365 for a repeat 2-2 score tonight. The 1-1 draw is best at 6/1 with Bodog and Ladbrokes. Milan have a fairly consistent home record this season, at least against the lower teams in the league. They have won six games from the six possible against sides in 8th or below at home, but against Udinese, Inter and Lazio, teams in the top six, they have picked up only two points from these three games.
Lazio can take encouragement from this, as well as their own away record. They have won five games from a possible 9 on the road in the league this season, holding top teams Milan and Napoli to draws in the process, though losing their only other game to a top seven side, away at Inter 2-1.
Of the six wins at home, Milan have won five of them without conceding and it is 6/1 with Paddy Power and Coral for Milan to win 1-0, and 15/2 with Coral for a 2-0 home win. 3-0 to the Rossoneri is 14/1 with Blue Square and Boylesports, while a 2-1 win is 15/2 with most firms, such Bet365 and Blue Square.
Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri will have to do without midfielders Alberto Aquilani, Kevin Prince-Boateng and Gennaro Gattuso, all of whom are injured. This means he will probably select El Shaarawy behind a front two of Robinho, and possibly Pippo Inzaghi, who has only made four appearances this season for Milan. Robinho is 19/10 on Betfair to get on the scoresheet tonight, while Pippo Inzaghi is slightly longer at a best price of 21/10 with Paddy Power. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, if he plays, could be worth a decent shout at 6/5 with Coral to get on the scoresheet for Milan.
Lazio boss Edy Reja won't have Cristian Brocchi nor striker Libor Kozak, but will of course have German veteran Miroslav Klose, who is top goalscorer for Lazio this season. Cristian Ledesma will most likely line up in midfield for the side, alongside Gonzalez and Lulic, with Hernanes then behind Klose and Rocchi up top.
Klose is best with Bet365 at 12/5 to score anytime, while you Lazio's Rocchi at 10/3 with the same firm, and Djibril Cisse at an incredibly short 7/2 on Betfair to score. Hernanes is 7/2 with Bet365.
it is 21/20 with Bet365 for the game to go over 2.5 goals, and best at 5/6 with Bet Victor for under 2.5 goals. The match kicks off at 1945 and is live on ESPN.
