IPL Final betting - Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians

Today the Chennai Super Kings and the Mumbai Indians will fight it out to see who will join the Rajasthan Royals and Deccan Chargers as previous winners of cricket`s most lucrative tournament.
The Mumbai Indians have been in cruise control for most of the tournament, with captain Sachin Tendulkar providing most of the runs as they won ten of their fourteen league matches. In their semi-final against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, some late power-hitting from Kieron Pollard gave them a total of 184, and Bangalore could only manage 149 in reply.
Chennai will be looking to erase painful memories of 2008, when they came so close to seeing off Rajasthan in the final. The Super Kings beat last year`s champions the Deccan Chargers in their semi-final, and they will look to take momentum from that fantastic bowling performance into this match.
The two teams each won one match against each other in the regular season matches, with each team winning their home match, and in the history of the IPL, the head to head score stands at 3-3.
Mumbai are favourites to claim the title today, priced at 5/6 (bet $60 to make $50 profit), while the Super Kings are priced at 11/10 with Ladbrokes.
Murali Vijay has been in great form for Chennai this season, and he is favourite to be top batsman for the Super Kings, priced at 10/3. Next are his opening partner Matthew Hayden and Suresh Raina, who will likely come in at number 3. They are both priced at 7/2 to make the top score. Captain MS Dhoni is a 5/1 shot to be the hero today.
Chennai will feel that their best hope of winning is to dismiss Tendulkar early, but it will not be easy to beat the man who has scored 570 runs this season. Tendulkar is the 9/4 favourite to make the top score for Mumbai today. JP Duminy and Sanath Jayasuriya are next, priced at 5/1, while Kieron Pollard can make an impact coming in late, and is at 8/1 with Ladbrokes.
However the match goes today, the winning team will surely go down as the winner of the most exciting IPL season to date, and both teams will be doing their all to make sure that it is their name on the trophy.
