Today`s IPL match sees the two bottom teams in the league take on each other as they look come back into contention for a semi-final spot. Both teams have been poor so far, each only recording one win in their first four games, but Kings XI are ahead due to their higher net run rate.
In yesterday`s match, the Royal Challengers Bangalore beat the Chennai Super Kings, after Robin Uthappa smashed 68 from only 38 balls, with Bangalore holding out to record a 36 run victory.
Punjab are favourites for the match today, priced at 4/6 (bet $60 to make $40 profit), while the Royals are priced at 11/8. The Kings XI won against the Super Kings at the weekend, but it took a super over to do it, and they will be looking for a more comfortable win this time around.
Shaun Marsh is the favourite to top score for Punjab, priced at 7/2, followed by Ravi Bopara, who has scored 172 runs at an average of 43 this season. He is at 4/1 to be top batsman, as are Yuvraj Singh and Kumar Sangakkara.
Englishman Michael Lumb is the 4/1 favourite to be top batsman for Rajasthan, followed by Yusuf Pathan who is at 9/2 with Skybet. Naman Ohja is at 5/1 with Coral, and Swapnil Asnodkar is at 11/2.
Neither team is particularly fancied to win the competition, with Punjab priced at 14/1, and Rajasthan at 28/1.
