Europa League football betting - Fulham vs Wolfsburg

It`s another European night at Crave Cottage and Fulham will not be afraid. In one of the most remarkable nights in the club`s history the London club hosted Italian giants Juventus in the previous round, roaring back from a goal down to crush their famous opponents 4-1. Tonight they face Wolfsburg and Roy Hodgson`s team will be confident of giving themselves a useful lead to take with them to Germany for the return leg.
Fulham are favourites for the game at 5/4 (bet £40 to win £50 profit), leaving defending German champions Wolfsburg as underdogs at 5/2 with Ladbrokes, with the draw generally available at 23/10. While the hosts will be pleased with their performance in Europe this season, things could be going better on the domestic front after four defeats in a row and no wins since the 21st March. Wolfsburg, however, have won seven of their last nine in all competitions.
The bookmakers are expecting a close game and have made a 1-1 draw the most likely score for tonight`s game at 6/1, followed by a narrow 1-0 win for Fulham at 7/1. Skybet offer 9/1 that the game finishes goalless and the same firm offer the same price on a 1-0 win for the visitors. Another 4-1 win for Fulham is seen as unlikely and is on offer at 66/1.
Bobby Zamora has been made favourite to open the scoring tonight for Fulham at 11/2 with Coral after scoring the equaliser against Juventus and he is followed by the Texan Clint Dempsey, who is at 7/1 with Ladbrokes. Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko, who has sixteen league goals this season, is seen as Wolfsburg`s best chance of scoring the game`s first goal at 6/1, followed by the Brazilian Grafite at 13/2.
Fulham are 3/1 with Coral to lead tonight at both half-time and full-time and 9/2 to win the match after drawing at half-time. Bogod offer the same price that both halves are drawn and Wolfsburg are 11/2 with the same firm to be in front at both the interval and the final whistle. Draw/Wolfsburg is 7/1 with Skybet.
Both teams playing tonight are very much in contention for the Europa League this year but Wolfsburg are seen as the greater threat at 8/1, with their opponents at 11/1.
