FA Cup Semi-Final betting - Aston Villa vs Chelsea

Chelsea face Aston Villa today at Wembley Stadium in the semi-finals of the FA Cup. The current holders are looking to win the double this season after a relatively early Champions League exit at the hands of former manager Jose Mourinho and will fancy their chances of reaching the final again as they face the side they crushed 7-1 only two weeks ago at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are strong favourite for the game at 8/13 (bet £13 to win £8 profit) with Totesport, leaving Villa as underdogs at 11/2 with the draw at 3/1. Chelsea are in fine form and come into the game on the back of a potentially title-deciding win at Old Trafford, having won four of their last five matches. Villa have been poor of late, with the only two wins of their last six matches coming against lowly Bolton and Wigan.
The bookmakers have made a 1-0 win for Chelsea the favourite score for the game at 13/2, followed by 2-0 at 7/1 with SkyBet. A 1-1 draw is generally available at the same price and 12/1 is on offer for the game to finish goalless. A surprise 1-0 win for Villa, which would threaten to leave Chelsea without a trophy this season, is 14/1 with Paddy Power.
Didier Drogba has been made favourite to open the scoring tonight at 4/1 with Coral after hitting an awesome thirty goals this season in all competitions. He is followed in the betting by French striker Nicholas Anelka at 11/2 with Stan James and Frank Lampard, who scored four last time these teams met, at 6/1. Villa`s best chance of breaking the deadlock today is seen to be England hopeful Gabriel Agbonlahor at 9/1, with John Carew available at 10/1 with Coral.
Chelsea are 6/4 to lead tonight at both half-time and full-time and 7/2 to win the match after drawing at half-time. The bookmakers offer 11/2 that both halves end in a draw and Villa are 12/1 with Victor Chandler to be winning at both the interval and the final whistle. Draw/Villa is available at 14/1 with Bet365.
Carlo Ancelotti`s side are favourites to win the FA Cup again this year and are 21/20 win Canbet. Villa will have to cause a real upset if they are to make the final and are now 5/1 with Boylesports to win the competition this year.
