Tottenham travel to Fulham today, as they bid to continue their FA Cup run and go all the way to Wembley. Spurs picked up a good win against Everton last weekend, and their confidence will be high going into this match.
Fulham thrashed Notts County 4-0 in their last round match, and are doing well in the Premiership, currently sitting in ninth spot. Competition for the European spots is extremely tough this year, and Fulham will feel that their best chance of continental football next year is through winning this competition.
Spurs, on the other hand, are still fighting for Champions League football in the Premiership. They are currently in fourth place, but are being pressured hard by Liverpool and Man City. Harry Redknapp`s side also won their last FA Cup match 4-0, against Bolton in a replay.
Despite their home advantage, Fulham are underdogs for the match, priced at 21/10 (bet £100 to make £210 profit) with Bet365. Spurs are also odds-against, with Victor Chandler offering them at 6/4. The teams are at 12/5 with Skybet to be drawing after 90 minutes.
Despite the match odds being pretty close, Spurs are much shorter priced to be the team which eventually qualifies from the tie, priced at 4/7. Paddy Power offer 6/4 on Fulham being the team to win the tie.
A 1-1 draw is the favourite scoreline for the match, priced at 6/1, followed by a 1-0 Spurs win which Betfair offer at 8/1. A goalless draw is priced at 9/1, as are both a 1-0 win for Fulham and a 2-1 win for Spurs. A 2-1 win for Roy Hodgson`s side is at 11/1.
Spurs are priced at 7/2 to be winning at half time and full time, and the teams are 9/2 to be drawing at the end of each half. Fulham / Fulham is at 5/1, and you can back either team at 6/1 to be drawing at half time and winning at full time.
England striker Jermain Defoe, who has scored 16 league goals so far this season, is the 6/1 favourite to open the scoring. Bobby Zamora and Roman Pavlyuchenko, who have both been in sensational form for their clubs recently, are both at 13/2 to score first. Peter Crouch is at 7/1, and his confidence will be high after coming off the bench to score twice for England midweek.
Spurs are rated as third favourites for this competition, and are 5/1 to go all the way. Fulham are further down, at 14/1 to win.
