FA Cup: Everton v Fulham Odds and Betting Preview
By Robert Alexander on 2012-01-27 10:33:21
LIVERPOOL, UK - Everton host Fulham in an all Premier League FA Cup fourth round tie on Friday evening, with David Moyes' side favourites to win the match at best odds of 6/5 (bet £5 to make £6 profit) at BetVictor. Fulham are quoted at best odds of 14/5 at Ladbrokes and Paddy Power to win the match, whilst the draw is a top priced 12/5 shot at totesport and Skybet.
Martin Jol's Fulham were impressive at the weekend, defeating the normally solid Newcastle United 5-2 at Craven Cottage and they will be full of confidence of defeating an Everton side whose last home win in the Premier League came on 21st December. Neither side was really tested in the third round, with Everton beating Tamworth 2-0 at home, while Fulham beat League One leaders Charlton Athletic 4-0 at home. Everton will take confidence from the fact they beat Fulham 3-1 at Craven Cottage earlier in the season and the fact that Fulham have one of the worst away records in the league, with only one victory coming at the DW Stadium, Wigan in October.
In the over/under betting Stan James offer a generous 3/4 on under 2.5 goals considering the fact that over 80 per cent of Fulham's away matches have had under 2.5 goals and nearly two-thirds of Everton's home matches have been the same. Over 2.5 goals in the match is a top priced 23/20 shot with bet365 and William Hill.
Former Fulham forward Louis Saha is a top priced 13/2 favourite in the first goalscorer betting with Coral the only bookmaker quoting those odds, while Tim Cahill can be backed at 7/1 at Paddy Power and BetVictor. Fulham forward Bobby Zamora is as long as 8/1 with Ladbrokes to score the first goal of the game, with the ever consistent Clint Dempsey best priced at 17/2 with bet365 and BetVictor. Everton fans will have been delighted by the fact that Landon Donovan is back on loan at Goodison Park and he is top priced at 9/1 with Stan James and William Hill.
Everton are quoted at best odds of 9/4 with bet365 and Coral to be winning the match at the end of both halves, with draw/Everton a top priced 4/1 shot at Ladbrokes and Paddy Power. Fulham are as long as 13/2 with William Hill to win the match after leading at half-time, while draw/Fulham is 8/1 at Ladbrokes.
The match kicks off at 2000 GMT
