Spanish La Liga betting - Barcelona vs Real Madrid

The day has finally arrived. Today Real Madrid travel to the Nou Camp for the biggest club game in world football, El Clasico. This year the clash carries even more weight, with Real Madrid having spent over £200 million over the summer in a bid to overtake their Catalan rivals, who completed an unprecedented treble last season.
Real looked to be back in contention for La Liga last season, but were crushed 6-2 on their own turf as Barca romped to a treble of the league, the cup and the Champions League. Thierry Henry and Lionel Messi each scored two as Real`s season promptly collapsed.
There is good news for Real in that Cristiano Ronaldo, the most expensive player ever, is fit to play, after coming on as a substitute in their midweek Champions League win against FC Zurich. Barcelona are favourites for the game, priced at 10/11. Real are at 7/2 and the draw is at 14/5.
Given the attacking prowess of both sides, a 1-1 draw is surprisingly the favourite score for the match, priced at 7/1. A 2-1 win and a 1-0 win for Los Cules are both at 8/1. A 2-0 win for them is at 9/1, followed by a 3-1 win at 14/1. A 2-1 for Real and a goalless draw are also at 14/1. A 2-2 draw is at 16/1.
Pep Guardiola`s side are 2/1 to be winning at half time and full time, and draw / Barca is at 4/1. Draw / draw is at 6/1, followed by Real / Real at 15/2. Draw / Real is at 8/1.
Neither Lionel Messi or Zlatan Ibrahimovic played any part in Barcelona`s 2-0 win against Inter, but both are expected to play today. Their presence will be crucial for Barca as they are the favourites to score first, priced at 6/1 and 11/2 respectively. Next is European player of the year Cristiano Ronaldo who is priced at 13/2. Next up are two French forwards, Thierry Henry and Karim Benzema priced at 7/1 and 8/1.
Argentine Gonzalo Higuain, who scored the sole goal for Real against Zurich, is at 8/1. Ruud van Nistelrooy, who has been out of favour at the Bernabeu recently, is next at 9/1, ahead of Bojan at 10/1, and Kaka and Raul at 12/1.
Madrid are currently one point ahead of Barca, following the champions` disappointing draw last weekend, but Barca are still heavy favourites to claim the title for a second consecutive year. They are priced at 4/6, while Madrid are at 13/8.
