Big-spending Real Madrid face their first test in the league as they travel to Sevilla. Real are in superb form following their summer spending and still have a 100% record so far this season. In their last four games in the league they have scored 13 goals and have not conceded.
Real are 11/10 (bet $100 to make $110 profit) favourites for the match whilst Sevilla are at 14/5. The draw is at 13/5.
Cristiano Ronaldo is rated as most likely to score first at 9/2, followed by French striker Karim Benzema at 11/2. Argentinian Gonzalo Higuain is next at 13/2. Sevilla’s best hope is Brazilian Luis Fabiano at 7/1. Real’s captain Raul is at 15/2, as is Brazilian maestro Kaka. Fredi Kanoute is next at 8/1.
Real are 9/4 to be winning at half time and full time and draw / Real is priced at 4/1. Draw / draw is at 6/1 and Sevilla / Sevilla is at 13/2.
A tight match is expected and a 1-1 draw is the favourite result at 15/2 followed by a 2-1 win for Real at 8/1. A 1-0 win for Los Cules is 10/1 and bookies are offering 11/1 on a 2-0 win for Madrid. Sevilla are 13/1 to win 1-0.
Real are second favourites to win La Liga at 6/5 whilst Sevilla are third favourites at 50/1.
