Jailed NBA Referee’s Book Cancelled
Deadspin claim to have acquired a copy of 'Blowing the Whistle: The Culture of Fraud in the NBA', a book by disgraced NBA referee Tim Donaghy about alleged corruption in the league. Donaghy served eleven months in prison for his part in a gambling scandal and wrote the memoir during this time, but the publisher, Triumph Books, cancelled the book. Pat Bergan, the liaison between Donaghy and Triumph, claims the NBA threatened legal action. The NBA denies these claims.
LA Lakers head betting for 2010 NBA Finals
The Los Angeles Lakers are favorites to defend their NBA Finals title in 2010.
