NBA Championship 2009-2010 betting preview
The NBA season tips off on Tuesday with two of the favourites for the Championship facing each other in the opening game. The Cleveland Cavaliers, led by LeBron James, face the Boston Celtics, a team whch had the league's second-best record last year while defending their 2008 title. Cleveland are second-favourites to win the Finals this year at 7/2, just ahead of Boston at 5/1.
LA Lakers head betting for 2010 NBA Finals
The Los Angeles Lakers are favorites to defend their NBA Finals title in 2010. The Lakers are rated 5/2 (bet $20 to win $50) favorites following their win over the Orlando Magic by four games to one to take their fourth championship in the last decade. They also made the finals in 2008 but lost four games to two to the Boston Celtics.
