Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: “Punters reckon the Obama factor will make the difference.”
“Rio had the momentum until the President’s decision to make the trip to Copenhagen.”
Tokyo and Madrid are 8/1 and 16/1 respectively to be awarded the games.
