A maximum field of 23 will line up for Saturday’s Totesport.com November Handicap at Doncaster and it is Godolphin’s Baila Me who heads the market at 7/1 with the sponsors after original ante-post favourite and stablemate Emirates Champion was not declared for the 1m4f event.
Barry Hills’ Tastahil heads the weights on 9st 11lb just ahead of the Godolphin pair of Baila Me and Friston Forest on 9st 7lb. Charm School has been well-backed in recent days and is second in the market at 8/1 with Jimmy Fortune taking the mount.
‘The prospect of soft ground at Doncaster should make the November Handicap a real test so it’s no surprise that the two best-backed horses ante-post in the shape of Charm School and Ella both have form with a bit of cut in the ground,’ said Totesport spokesman George Primarolo.
Trip The Light and Persian Peril are the two reserves for the race and are available at 25/1 and 50/1 respectively.
