William Hill rate England as their 8/15 favourite to beat Scotland (11/8) in the Calcutta cup at the weekend. Scotland are given a four points head start in the Handicap betting but the odds suggest few tries and Hills are 8/15 that England score two or fewer tries with Scotland 4/7 to score one or less.
“We expect the Calcutta Cup to be a low scoring game but with the weather set fine England are the slight favourites,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
