LONDON, UK – Punters and bookmakers are finding it find a new club for England winger Joe Cole. The former Chelsea player has been linked with moves to Spurs and Arsenal, but now Sky Bet believe that he is more likely to sign a contract with Roy Hodgson’s Liverpool.
In the betting for Joe Cole’s next club, Liverpool has now been cut into 4/5 (bet £50 to win £40 profit) from 11/10 with Sky Bet, which gives him a 56 per cent chance of playing for The Reds next season.
Conversely, Tottenham has been pushed out to 7/4 and the odds of him joining Arsenal are even longer at 9/4.
Manchester United has been cut into 12/1 and West Ham has also been trimmed into 25/1 by Sky Bet.
In other transfer news, the same bookie is reporting money for Fernando Torres to move to Stamford Bridge after the World Cup. Chelsea are now 2/1 from 9/4 to sign El Niño, but Manchester City remain the favourites to secure Torres’ services at 13/8.
