Singapore Grand Prix betting

Lewis Hamilton is the 4/6 (bet $60 to make $40 profit) favorite with the bookmakers to win the Singapore Grand Prix after securing pole position.

Sebastian Vettel is the 11/2 second favorite from second on the grid but he carries a much lighter fuel load than Hamilton and will need a good deal of luck in running to beat the British driver.

Nico Rosberg is third on the grid and can be backed at 14/1 to win the race while Mark Webber is a best price of 12/1 to win from fourth on the grid.

With overtaking opportunities on the city streets circuit somewhat limited, it is hardly surprising that those on the front of the grid are rated the most likely winners. The circuit rewards slow corner, high downforce performance, which is a major contrast to the last two F1 races.

But Singapore is also well known for its humid conditions and while a downpour is not predicted it is far from impossible.

Championship chasers Jenson Button and Rubens Barichello start from 12th and fifth on the grid respectively and bookies reckon they will struggle to even score a point. Button is Evens (bet $100 to make $100 profit) to finish in the top eight while Barichello is 8/11 to score at least a point.
