After losing 3-0 at home to the latter many thought the Gunners' hopes of winning the league had already faded but they have worked their way back into the reckoning and could not have asked for a better opportunity, with their opponents second from bottom in the table having recently dismissed their manager, replacing him with former player Owen Coyle.
