Tottenham face bitter rivals Arsenal tonight in a North London derby of huge significance for both teams. Arsenal are in danger of going six years without a trophy and their only remaining hope of ending their drought is winning the Premier League. However, the Gunners are now three points behind leaders Chelsea with a vastly inferior goal difference and also have to contend with Manchester United, who are two points better off having played one more match. Spurs are looking to finish in the top four and qualify for next season's Champions League and they are currently four points behind Manchester City with a game in hand.

Arsenal and Spurs fans will be gearing up towards what looks to be the most competitive North London derby in recent years. Both matches last season ended in draws, with Aaron Lennon scoring a dramatic late equaliser to draw 4-4 and the other ending 0-0. Spurs have not beaten Arsenal in the league since 1999 but only goal difference separates the two teams at the moment.
