England captain Steven Gerrard has been installed as favourite to finish the World Cup as his side's top goalscorer following their qualification from Group C in second place. Gerrard is 9/4 (bet £40 to win £90 profit) with Coral and only he and Jermain Defoe have got on the scoresheet so far.

Tottenham look to keep the pressure on their rivals in the race for fourth place as they face Bolton at White Hart Lane in the Premier League. Spurs currently hold the coveted position but they are level on points with Aston Villa and only one clear of Manchester City. Bolton, however, have little left to play for this season after avoiding relegation and Wanderers can finish no higher than their current fourteenth place.

Tottenham face bitter rivals Arsenal tonight in a North London derby of huge significance for both teams. Arsenal are in danger of going six years without a trophy and their only remaining hope of ending their drought is winning the Premier League. However, the Gunners are now three points behind leaders Chelsea with a vastly inferior goal difference and also have to contend with Manchester United, who are two points better off having played one more match. Spurs are looking to finish in the top four and qualify for next season's Champions League and they are currently four points behind Manchester City with a game in hand.
