UEFA Champions League football – Manchester United vs A.C. Milan

A.C Milan travel to Old Trafford tonight in the knock-out stages of the Champions League hoping to overcome their 3-2 defeat at the San Siro in the first leg of the tie. No team can claim to have a particularly strong record at the 'Theatre of Dreams', but many of Milan's players were in the side that won 1-0 there in 2005. Their most recent meeting in Manchester, in 2007, finished 3-2 to the hosts.

UEFA Champions League football betting – Real Madrid vs Lyon

Real Madrid's expensively-assembled squad will look to justify their remarkable price-tags tonight as the new Galacticos face Lyon in the Champions League. The four most expensive players in Madrid's side alone cost £200 million this summer but the Spanish Giants are facing yet another humiliating exit at this stage of the competition. Manuel Pelligrini's side have now gone top of La Liga but many believe the Chilean will need to deliver Europe's most prestigious title to keep his job.

Premier League football betting – Burnley vs Stoke City

Burnley host Stoke tonight in the Premier League desperate for points as the end of the season relegation fight gets under way. The hosts are currently second from bottom in the table but are only one point behind Wolves in 17th place. Stoke have struggled away from home but are safe from the drop in eleventh place.

Championship football betting – Crystal Palace vs Bristol City

Paul Hart's first game in charge of Crystal Palace ended in a 1-0 win over Sheffield United on Saturday. The cash-strapped side, who lost manager Neil Warnock to rivals QPR, will hope for a similar result and performance tonight as they look to put some distance between them and the drop zone. Palace are currently twentieth in the Championship after their financial issues cost them a ten-point deduction and are out of the bottom three only on goal difference.

FA Cup football betting – Chelsea vs Stoke

Holders Chelsea host Stoke today in the FA Cup hoping to end their poor run of form which has seen their lead at the top of the Premiership cut to just one point and put them on the brink of being knocked out of the Champions League. Michael Ballack and Juliano Belletti were both sent off in last weekend's 4-2 home defeat to Manchester City and Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping for a big improvement on their most recent performance.

Spanish La Liga football betting – Almeria vs Barcelona

Almeria host defending Champions Barcelona tonight in La Lige hoping to take advantage of the closest thing their opponents get to a dip in form. Barcelona, who lost their first game of the season two weeks ago, have seen their lead at the top of the league cut to two points and bitter rivals Real Madrid, in second place, have a superior goal difference.

Premier League football betting – Wolves vs Manchester United

Manchester United travel to Wolves today needing a win to keep pace with rivals Arsenal and Chelsea. United are currently second in the table but things at the top are delicately balanced, with Chelsea one point ahead and Arsenal two points behind. Wolves are facing relegation and will also be desperate for three points but this is the type of game where United will feel they have no excuse to drop points.

Premier League football betting – Arsenal vs Burnley

Arsenal host Burnley today in the Barclays Premier League knowing that a win would keep them firmly in the hunt for the title. The Gunners are currently third in the table and are only three points off leaders Chelsea, impressive as many wrote them off after the Blues's 3-0 win at the Emirates. Arsenal bounced back, both from that and their 3-1 loss to Manchester United, and have played their part in making this one of the most interesting title races for some time.

International Friendly football betting – Scotland vs Czech Republic

Scotland face the Czech Republic tonight in a friendly match at Hampden Park. Neither of these sides will be going to the World Cup this summer but the managers will still be eager to have a look at their squads and start thinking about the 2012 European Championships. Scotland will also hope to bounce back from their humiliating 3-0 defeat to Wales last time out.

International football betting – France vs Spain

France host Spain tonight in the final round of Friendly matches before this summers' World Cup in South Africa. Spain, whose squad is mostly unchanged from the team that won the European Championships in 2008, are favourites for the tournament. France, however, can count themselves lucky to have even qualified after Thierry Henry blatantly handled the ball in the build-up to the goal that put them through.
