Tottenham look to keep the pressure on their rivals in the race for fourth place as they face Bolton at White Hart Lane in the Premier League. Spurs currently hold the coveted position but they are level on points with Aston Villa and only one clear of Manchester City. Bolton, however, have little left to play for this season after avoiding relegation and Wanderers can finish no higher than their current fourteenth place.

Tottenham will try to get past Bolton at the second attempt today, as they play their replay after drawing the first match 1-1. Kevin Davies had put Bolton ahead after the 34th minute but Jermain Defoe equalised in the 62nd minute, and Spurs could not find a way through Bolton's resilient defence as they pressed for a winner. Harry Redknapp's side will fancy their chances in the Cup, and with Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal all out, they could go all the way to Wembley.

Tottenham Hotspur host Sunderland today, looking for a convincing victory to erase bitter memories of last week’s 3-0 loss to rivals Arsenal. Spurs had a fantastic start to the season, but have slumped recently, losing their last two league matches. Spurs are 4/7 favourites for the game (bet £70 to make £40 profit), and Sunderland are at 6/1. The draw is at 11/4.

Arsenal and Spurs fans will be gearing up towards what looks to be the most competitive North London derby in recent years. Both matches last season ended in draws, with Aaron Lennon scoring a dramatic late equaliser to draw 4-4 and the other ending 0-0. Spurs have not beaten Arsenal in the league since 1999 but only goal difference separates the two teams at the moment.
