Super Bowl 2010 – Indianapolis Colts vs New Orleans Saints

Miami's Sun Life Stadium tonight plays host to one of the most hotly-anticipated Super Bowls in recent memory as Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts face the New Orlewans Saints. Both teams started the season looking to become the first teams to win the Super Bowl after an undefeated season and went 13-0 before resting key players late in their schedules. However, those few defeats were quickly forgotten and the teams surged through the play-offs, with Indy beating Baltimore and New York and the Saints overcoming the Vikings after thrashing Arizona.

NFL AFC Championship Playoffs – New York Jets vs Indianapolis Colts

New York travel to Indianapolis tonight to face the Colts in the AFC Championship game with the winner earning a place at Super Bowl 2010 in Miami. The Colts were much stronger than New York during the regular season and went 13-0 before resting their key players in their final games. The Jets were less impressive at 9-7 but will draw confidence from their win over Indianapolis in week sixteen and their 17-14 upset of San Diego in the last round.

Super Bowl 2010 betting update

There are just four teams left now in the hunt for the 2010 Super Bowl. Minnesota travel to New Orleans to compete for the NFC Title while the Colts host the Jets, who beat them in week sixteen of the regular season and upset the heavily favoured San Diego Chargers in the last round.

NFL Week Seventeen – Indianapolis Colts vs Buffalo Bills

Indianapolis travel to Buffalo tonight in a game neither side needs to win. The Colts have long secured the AFC South and home-field advantage but last week lost their perfect record to New York to fall to 14-1. They benched many of their starters in that game and may do so again, meaning Buffalo, at 5-10, have a chance of getting a great result today to finish on a high in a season that they will want to forget.

Carling Cup betting preview – Barnsley vs Manchester United

Championship Barnsley host Carling Cup holders and Premier League champions Manchester United this weekend in the Carling Cup fourth round. The hosts have won three of their last home games but go into this match trying to rediscover that form after losing their most recent contest 3-2 to Bristol City. The famous visitors have also just tasted defeat, falling 2-0 at Anfield to bitter rivals Liverpool on Sunday.

2010 World Cup Qualifier Betting – England vs Belarus

England host Belarus tonight in the final round of qualification for next year's World Cup in South Africa. It is a qualifier in name only, as England have qualified already and Belarus no longer can. However, the teams are not without incentive with England desperate to show that last weekend's defeat to Ukraine was a one-off and Belarus hoping to earn a memorable victory at Wembley to lift the countries' football fans.
