Super Bowl 2010 betting update

There are just four teams left now in the hunt for the 2010 Super Bowl. Minnesota travel to New Orleans to compete for the NFC Title while the Colts host the Jets, who beat them in week sixteen of the regular season and upset the heavily favoured San Diego Chargers in the last round.
Indianapolis are strong favourites for the Super Bowl this year at 13/10 (bet $100 to win $130 profit). The Colts went 14-2 in the regular season and have yet to lose a game with their full-strength team on the field. After thrashing Baltimore 20-3 in the last round it will take a mighty effort to stop them going all the way this season.
Following the Colts are the Saints, priced at 21/10. New Orleans, like the Colts, won their first thirteen games before appearing to collapse towards the end of the regular season, losing their last three, including at defeat to the hopeless Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, the Saints` 45-14 thrashing of Arizona in the last round silenced their doubters and Minnesota will know they need to be on top of their game to stop Drew Brees and Reggie Bush.
The Vikings are available at 9/2. After a hugely impressive season on the back of a resurgent Brett Favre and the brilliant Adrian Peterson, many thought Dallas would be a real test, but Minnesota crushed their opponents 34-3, showing that when their big guns are firing they can crack open even the toughest defence.
New York are the least favoured team for glory this year. At 8/1 their odds are not insurmountable but they will have to get past the Colts and then the winner of Dallas vs Minnesota, which is a huge task for anyone. Nobody will have more faith than the Jets themselves, however, and having already beaten the Colts and now the Chargers they cannot be ruled out.
Super Bowl 2010 will be played in Miami on the 7th of February.
