Super Bowl 2010 betting update

The first round of the play-offs is over and there are just eight teams left in the hunt for the Super Bowl. The weekend`s action saw the Bengals, Patriots, Eagles and Packers eliminated from the running.
The Indianapolis Colts are the favourites at 3/1 (bet $10 to make $30 profit) after going 14-2 during the season. As the Colts only fielded second-string teams in their final two games, which they lost, it is yet to be seen whether anyone can beat them when they are at full strength and Peyton Manning is on the field for the whole game.
Following the Colts are the San Diego Chargers at 7/2. After an uninspiring start, going 2-3, San Diego have won eleven games in a row and enjoyed a bye in the first round of the play-offs. No team has as long a winning streak and they are playing the New York Jets in the next round, who are the lowest-ranked team remaining, priced at 22/1.
Baltimore beat New England to get this far but will come up against Indianapolis in the next round. Due to the difficulty of this game they are now at 16/1. At 14/1 is Arizona, who went 10-6 during the regular season but must now face the New Orleans Saints. The Saints, who are third favourites at 9/2 were on course for a perfect season but completely collapsed at the end, losing their last three games, including to Tampa Bay, considered by many to be the league`s worst team.
The Other teams still involved are the Minnesota Vikings and the Dallas Cowboys, who face each other next and are both at 7/1. Minnesota has the better record of the two, going 12-4 to Dallas` 11-5, but the Cowboys will surely be feeling confident after smashing Philadelphia 34-14 in the last round to earn their first play-off win since 1996.
The Super Bowl will be held this year in Dolphin Stadium on the seventh of February.
