NFL Week Sixteen - Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New Orleans Saints

New Orleans host Tampa Bay tonight in week sixteen of the NFL season in a game that sees one of the very best teams in the league take on one of the very worst. New Orleans have been excellent this season and were attempting to become the first team to go unbeaten in the regular season before winning the Super Bowl, before losing last week 24-17 to Dallas to fall to 13-1. The Bucs have had far more trouble winning than their opponents tonight and last week`s 24-7 win in Seattle only improved them to 2-12.
The Saints go into the game as huge favourites on the money line at -900 (bet $900 to win $100 profit), leaving the Bucs looking very unlikely to pick up a rare win at +650 (bet $100 to win $650 profit). Betting on the money line so far has been fairly even with 53% of money so far backing New Orleans.
The points spread for the game has been set at fourteen points, making the Saints favourites at -14 and giving Tampa Bay a handicap of +14. Betting against the  spread has focused on New Orleans with 76% of money so far behind the home side. Last time the teams met they did indeed win by more than fourteen, beating the Bucs 38-7 in week eleven of the current season.
The Over/Under for the game has been set at 49 points and betting so far has seen 70% of money backing the Under.
The Saints have been very impressive this season and the bookmakers have responded by making them favourites for the Super Bowl at 3/1. Tampa Bay have long been eliminated from the play-offs.
