NFL Week Nine betting odds - Green Bay Packers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay host Green Bay in week nine of the NFL season still hoping to win their first game. At 0-7, the Bucs are a sorry sight but have had a bye week to recover from their 35-7 loss in London to New England in week seven. Green Bay have had a mixed season. They sit at 4-3 but will be looking to bounce back from last week`s defeat to Packers legend Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings.
Green Bay go into the game as strong favourites on the money line at -476 (bet $476 to win $100 profit), leaving the Bucs as big underdogs at +420 (bet $100 to win $420 profit). Betting so far on the money line has been strongly in favour of the visitors, with 90% of money backing them to extend Tampa Bay`s winless streak.
The point spread is set at 9.5 points, making the Packers big favourites at -9.5 points and giving the Bucs a handicap of +9.5 points as underdogs. Betting against the spread has told a similar tale to the money line market, with 90% in favour of the Packers, despite the big spot. Last time the two sides met, however, not only did the Packers not cover but they lost 30-21 in week four of last season.
Green Bay have covered in every win and failed in every loss so far this season, while the Bucs have managed to slightly improve on their 0-7 on-field record by covering once to stand at 1-6 against the spread.
The Over/Under for the game is set at 43.5 points, with 59% of money so far backing the Under. This does not seem warranted, however, as the teams combined have eight Overs and six Unders in fourteen decisions.
Neither team is fancied to win the Super Bowl this year but the Packers are in with some chance at 49/1. Tampa Bay are not and are 2500/1.
