So far 65% of betting on the money line has backed the Patriots. Last time the teams met New England comfortably beat the Titans, winning 40-23 in week 17 of the 2006 season.

The point spread has been set at 9 points, making New England -9 point favourites and leaving Tennessee +9 point dogs. So far 52% of betting on the spread has been on the Titans.

So far this season New England have been better on the field, where they are 3-2, than against the spread, where they are 2-3, failing to cover in both road games. The Titans, however, are 1-4 against the spread, an improvement on their 0-5 record on the field.
