UEFA Europa League betting odds - Benfica vs Marseille

Benfica take on Marseille tonight as they look to continue their excellent season so far. They are currently on course to win their first Portuguese title since 2005. They are also 11 points clear of Porto and a massive 20 points away from rivals Sporting Lisbon. Marseille are fourth in the tightly poised Ligue 1, but are only three points away from leaders Bordeaux.
Benfica trashed Hertha Berlin 4-0 in the second leg of their last round tie, winning 5-1 on aggregate. They have also been tremendous recently, winning eight of their last nine domestic games. Marseille won both of their legs 3-1 against FC Copenhagen, to win 6-2 on aggregate. Marseille drew their last game, but, prior to that they had won six games in a row.
The Portuguese side are favourites for the match, priced at evens, while Marseille are at 3/1. Stan James offer 5/2 on the draw. Benfica are also favourites to qualify from the tie, priced at 8/11, while Marseille are at 11/10.
A 1-1 draw, which would give Marseille the edge going into the second leg, is the favourite result, priced at 6/1. 1-0 and 2-1 wins for Benfica are at 7/1 and 17/2 respectively, while a 2-0 win is at 8/1. A goalless draw is at 10/1 with William Hill, and a 1-0 win for Marseille is at 14/1 with Betfair.
On the half time / full time market, Benfica / Benfica is the favourite spot, priced at a generous 11/5. Draw / Benfica is next at 4/1, followed by draw / draw, which is at 9/2. Marseille / Marseille is at 7/1 with Victor Chandler, and draw / Marseille is at 8/1.
Benfica`s strike force of Oscar Cardozo and Javier Saviola have been prolific this season, with 27 goals between them, and they are the market leaders in the first goalscorer market. Cardozo edges ahead, priced at 4/1, while the Argentine is at 5/1. Nuno Gomes is next, priced at 11/2, followed by Weldon, Alan Kardec and Mamdou Niang, who are all at 7/1.
Both teams are seen to be among the front runners for the tournament, with Benfica slightly ahead at 10/1. Marseille are best priced at 16/1.
