Chelsea player transfer summary 2010

Chelsea`s activity in the summer transfer window has been uncharacteristically quiet with just two players arriving at Stamford Bridge but a massive 20 leaving, although eight of those have departed on loan to smaller clubs.
With Manchester City splashing the cash around, Chelsea have picked up Yossi Benayoun and Ramires while losing players such as Michael Ballack, Deco and Joe Cole. However it doesn`t seem to have had much effect on the Blues as they have kicked off the new season better than anyone else and sit proudly atop the table, just as they did at the end of last season.
Chelsea are a top price of 5/4 with Blue Square to win the Premier League and are best priced at 1/33 with Bet 365 to finish in the top four. They are on offer at best odds of 6/1 with Blue Square and Sky Bet to win the Champions League, which makes them third favourites for the competition. For those who think Ancelotti`s side will implode somehow you can back Chelsea at 5,000/1 with Betfred to be relegated.
