Next Aston Villa manager betting odds

Slaven Bilic and Alan Curbishley are favourites to replace Martin O`Neill at Aston Villa following the latter`s resignation this afternoon. Sky Bet and William Hill offer 6/1 on the two managers, who offer very different things to a club. Bilic is charismatic and a brilliant man-manager, while Curbishley has knowledge of the English game and tactical nuance.
Next in the betting are Sven Gorran-Eriksson and Steve McClaren are both at 8/1, but McClaren is unlikely to leave Wolfsburg after joining so recently.
David Moyes, the current Everton manager, is 12/1, but a move to Villa seems like a lateral one at this point in his career.
Martin Jol was immediately installed as the 2/1 favourite with Sky Bet but he is now 5/1 there and 8/1 with Paddy Power. The Dutchman does not seem settled at Ajax and almost moved to Fulham last month, meaning he is probably the best value in the market at this stage.
