Premier League football betting - Manchester United vs Fulham

Manchester United continue their campaign for a fourth successive Premier League title as they welcome Fulham to Old Trafford. The hosts will be extremely confident after their 4-0 humiliation of Italian Giants AC Milan in midweek. Fulham also faced an Italian side with a big reputation on Thursday night but the outcome was different as Roy Hodgson`s side went down 3-1 in Turin against Juventus.
United are big favourites for today`s game at 1/4 (bet £40 to win £10 profit), leaving Fulham as underdogs as long as 15/1 with Paddy Power. United have won four of their last five matches in all competitions, as well as each of their last six home games. Fulham, however, have not been enjoying their football as much, with only one win in their last five and only three away wins in twenty-one attempts in all competitions this season. The draw is at 5/1 and Fulham have drawn three of their last four.
The bookmakers have made a 2-0 win for United the most likely score for the game at 11/2, followed by 1-0 at 7/1 with Victor Chandler and a more resounding 3-0 at 15/2 with Canbet. A 1-1 draw is available at 12/1 with Stan James and 0-0 is at 16/1, with a shock 1-0 win for Fulham at 30/1 with Paddy Power. Another 4-0 win for the defending Champions is only 13/1.
Wayne Rooney has been made favourite to open the scoring tonight at 11/4. This will come as no surprise as the England superstar has been scoring goals whenever the mood strikes him. Rooney has now got thirty goals for United this season and will be happy to add to that today. Next most likely is Bulgarian Dimitar Berbatov at 4/1, followed by Nani and Antonio Valencia, both at 9/1. Bobby Zamora is seen as Fulham`s best chance of scoring the first goal and the Englishman is 12/1 with Bet365 to do the honours.
The bookmakers offer 3/4 that United lead at both half-time and full-time tonight and 7/2 that they win the match despite drawing at half-time. Victor Chandler have gone 9/1 that both halves end in a draw and Fulham are generally available at 33/1 to be winning at both the interval and the final whistle today. Draw/Fulham is available at the same price.
Chelsea and Manchester United are extremely close at the top of the Premier League but the Red Devils are currently very slight favourites, at 6/4 with Chelsea at 13/8.
