Premier League: Norwich v Swansea Odds and Betting Preview

NORWICH, ENGLAND - Norwich City entertain Swansea this weekend in a fascinating contest between two of the Premier League's newcomers. Norwich's home advantage has them installed as the favourites for the matchup, at a best price of 5/4 with Betfred. Swansea are 5/2 with Victor Chandler to claim a vital three points whilst Bet365 offer an industry best 23/10 on the stalemate.
Norwich have made an impressive start to life in the top division and currently sit just inside the top half, after picking up eight points from their opening seven matches. Paul Lambert’s outfit have been in great form in the past couple of weeks, recording back-to-back wins over Sunderland and Bolton before running League champions Manchester United close in a 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford. The Canaries will be looking to follow up on their fine recent displays this Saturday to move one step closer to their target of Premier League survival.
Swansea have made an equally encouraging start to their first campaign in the Premier League, taking an identical eight points from their seven fixtures. The Swans’ success has been built on their formidable home record, with all eight of their points coming in their four home matches. Despite the strong start, Brendan Rodger’s will know that his side must improve their away record to survive in the top division and will be looking for his side to pick their first point away from Liberty Stadium this Saturday.
In the correct score market, a 1-1 draw is the favoured result with the bookmakers at 6/1 with William Hill. A 1-0 Norwich victory is priced up at 7/1 with Ladbrokes whilst 2-1 to the home side is an 11/1 chance at Bet365. Swansea are 11/1 with Betfred to come away with a 2-1 victory.
