Premier League: Wolverhampton Wanderers v Swansea City Odds and Betting Preview

WOLVERHAMPTON, UK – Wolverhampton Wanderers face Swansea City in their crucial Premier League clash on Saturday. Mick McCarthy's side are desperately in need of points, and their fans will see Swansea as a side they should be taking three points off. Swansea, however, are the side on better form, and will be desperate to steal a crucial away victory.
Wolves start the match as favourites to win, and can be backed to do so at 21/20 with Blue Square. Swansea, on the other hand, are available to secure victory at 10/3 with Victor Chandler, whilst the draw is on offer at 13/5 with Stan James.
Wolves are on a miserably poor run of form, having lost their last five Premier League matches in a row. Unless Mick McCarthy can turn things around he will not last long as Wolves manager, and Wolves will not last long in the Premier League. There would be no better way to assert a change in attitude, however, than with a solid victory over Swansea on Saturday.
Swansea have not yet secured a point on the road this season, a statistic which will ring pleasingly in the ears of all Wolves fans. Manager Brendan Rogers has recently insisted in interview that his team need to become more robust, ruthless and assertive if they are to change their away fortunes. Whether his words have had an impact on his side, however, will become evident on Saturday.
In the over/under betting the top price on over 2.5 goals being scored is 21/20 with Ladbrokes, whilst under 2.5 goals is on offer at 17/20 with Bet365. For those punters anticipating a bore draw, however, under 0.5 goals can be backed at 10/1 with William Hill.
Wolves strikers Kevin Doyle and Steven Fletcher are a dangerous attacking pair, and most bookmakers are making them joint favourites to open the scoring on Saturday. Doyle can currently be backed at best odds of 6/1 with Ladbrokes, whilst Fletcher is on offer at the same odds with Paddy Power. Swansea most dangerous player is thought to be Danny Graham, and he is available to break the deadlock at 8/1 with Paddy Power.
Kick off is at 12.45 BST
