LONDON, UK:Â In recent weeks, many have claimed Spurs are the best team in London this season and some have gone as far as to say that Harry Redknapp's men can win the Premier League title. They will continue their pursuit of that lofty goal on Saturday as they travel to West Brom, with Bet 365 making them favourites for the game at evens. The draw is 13/5 with Betinternet, while the hosts can be backed at 3/1 with William Hill.Â
Spurs have climbed as high as third in the Premier League after winning eight games of a nine-game winning streak in league competition. Last year it was well known that the North Londoners were a threat to anyone on their best day, but the additions of Scott Parker and Emmanuel Adebayor have injected some vital experience and star quality into their side. West Brom will be aware of the quality they face today but should not be too daunted by it, with Roy Hodgson's side in decent form themselves, with their only two defeats in their last seven coming against Arsenal and Liverpool.Â
A 1-1 draw is the favourite score for the game, at 6/1 with Sky Bet, ahead of a 1-0 Spurs win at 15/2 with William Hill. The same firm are top price on 2-0, at 10/1, while a goalless draw is available at 12/1 with Sky Bet. The last meeting between the two finished 2-2, and a repeat of that scoreline is 14/1 with Betfred, while a 1-0 home win can be backed at 12/1 with Bet 365.Â
Rafael van der Vaart and Emmanuel Adebayor can both be backed at 5/1 to open the scoring for their side on Saturday, the former with Paddy Power and the latter, who scored both goals against Villa last time out, with Coral. Jermain Defoe and Gareth Bale are available at 6/1 and 8/1 respectively with Bet 365, while Peter Odemwingie, at 8/1 with Ladbrokes is thought to be the biggest threat to Brad Friedel's goal, although the Nigerian is yet to reach the heights of last season's form this term.
Spurs are 11/5 with Coral to lead at both half-time and full-time and 4/1 with Bet 365 to win the match after drawing at half-time. Sky Bet offer 5/1 that both halves finish honours even, while West Brom/West Brom and draw/West Brom are 13/2 and 8/1 respectively with Blue Square and 888 Sport.
Manchester City are favourites for the Premier League this season, at 8/11 with Paddy Power, while Spurs are as long as 40/1 with Boylesports. The same firm, however, offer just 5/6 that today's visitors finish the season in the top four and earn a priceless spot in the Champions League.
