Dobbin 13-2 Favourite As The Legends Line-Up At Doncaster!

William Hill have priced-up this Wednesday`s Fudge And Smudge Leger Legends Stakes due to be run at Doncaster with a host of Racing stars past and present taking part.
The bookmaking giants are pledging to donate any profits on the race directly to the charity appeal which is raising funds to build a Northern facility similar to Lambourn`s IJF rehabilitation centre Oaksey House.
The one-mile class five event boasts a raft of former jockeys, amongst them National Hunt legends John Francome, Graham Bradley, and Steve Smith-Eccles. The jumps boys will face-off against their lighter rivals in the form of former Flat supremos Pat Eddery, and Kevin Darley, with the addition of female riding heroines Alex Greaves, and Gay Kelleway adding further spice to proceedings.
Grand Diamond - ridden by the recently retired Tony Dobbin heads the market at 13-2 with Hills, but the affair is anything but clear-cut with Aflaam, Daring Dream, Legal Legacy, and Miami Gator all available at 7-1 thereafter.
Kate Miller, spokeswoman for William Hill, said: ``Wednesday`s race will be a fantastic opportunity for racing fans to see the stars of old back in action again. The race itself looks a truly open affair with minimal difference in ratings amongst the field. It could simply come down to who burns to be the ultimate legend the most!``
