Fans Gunning For Money Back On Roses Gig

Furious Guns N’ Roses fans are gunning for a full refund after a disappointing performance from the American rockers at the O2 arena in Dublin last night.
After the rockers made their entrance on stage almost an hour late, fans showed their frustration by throwing plastic bottles on the stage. An unhappy Axl and co played five songs before storming off leaving management to address the crowd. MCD boss Denis Desmond managed to calm the 13,000-strong crowd down and the band returned about half an hour later to finish their set.
The incident is now a massive headache for MCD who is no doubt feeling the pressure to refund money to unhappy customers. However, the odds on fans receiving a full refund from the promoters are slim with Paddy Power quoting 4/6 that no refund will be given.
Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power, said: “Axl is notorious for coming on stage late so the fans should have been expecting a late entrance. The band finished their set, albeit hours later, so it’s unlikely MCD will give money back!â€
As for Guns N’ Roses’ upcoming London gig on the 13th October, the band are being tipped at 15/8 to take to the stage over an hour and a half late while it’s just 2/1 that they get booed off the stage early by the London audience.
