Alan Curbishley cut to 3/1 in next Aston Villa manager betting

Sky Bet have cut Alan Curbishley`s odds to 3/1 (from 11/1) in their next Aston Villa manager betting following the news that the 52-year-old has met with Villa owner Randy Lerner and chief executive Paul Faulkner about the vacant position.
Current caretaker manager Kevin Macdonald is still the 6/5 favourite. Alex McLeish, who is struggling to reach a new contract agreement with Birmingham City, is 12/1.
Sky Bet`s Tim Reynolds said: "Since the news broke that Curbishley has been interviewed for the vacant Villa post, he`s the only person we`ve seen money for this morning. Villa owner Randy Lerner said that he wants a manager with Premier League experience and with Curbishley having spent time with both Charlton Athletic and West Ham, he will certainly bring that to the table."
