Murray 3/1 for US Open glory

Ladbrokes have made Andy Murray 3/1 third favourite to win the US Open. The Scot, who won the Masters Series event in Toronto earlier this month, reached the final at Flushing Meadows in 2008, and the US Open is considered by many to be his best opportunity to win a Grand Slam. He`s 25/1 to win the tournament without dropping a set.

David Williams of Ladbrokes said, "Andy`s hit form at the right time and looks to be back to his best again. He`ll probably have to beat at least one of Federer and Nadal, and having beaten both in the past month a repeat would make him a worthy champion."
