Vettel Favourite For Belgian GP Ahead Of Practice

VETTEL FAVOURITE FOR BELGIAN GP AHEAD OF PRACTICE GERMANY`S Sebastian Vettel is the 9-4 favourite on Betfair to win the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday ahead of the first practice session on Friday.

Vettel is favoured to take the chequered flag ahead of 16-5 shot Fernando Alonso, the Ferrari driver chasing his third win of the season.

Vettel`s Red Bull team-mate Mark Webber is available at 9-2 to be first across the line in Belgium. The Australian triumphed last time out in Hungary and is currently top of the drivers` standings.

Great Britain`s Lewis Hamilton is a 6-1 shout to top the podium, while McLaren stable-mate Jenson Button can be backed at 14-1. Felipe Massa, the Ferrari driver, is a 20-1 chance.

Betfair`s Alex Bake said: "Now that we`re at the business end of the season the punters are expecting big things from Vettel, starting with a win on Sunday."
