What Was The Cost Of Tiger’s Todger?

(24 August 2010) The ink is hardly dry on the divorce papers, and already punters are speculating with bookie Paddy Power on the amount of Elin Woods’ final settlement.
Rumours suggest that she may have agreed to a relatively small settlement to avoid lengthy court proceedings and they bookie’s favourite at odds of 5/2 is a settlement of between $150 and $250m.
Many will see it as a bullet dodged if Woods manages to get away with a settlement of less than $150m - an outcome rated a 3/1 shot by Paddy Power. It’s 9/1 that she has taken Tiger to the cleaners and landed a massive $750m plus settlement.
Tiger fans will be hoping the old unbeatable Tiger returns on the golf course and can have odds of 7/2 that he bounces back to Major glory with victory at Augusta in next year’s Masters. However, it is a very likely 2/5 that Woods’ next Major Championship will not be next year.
Paddy Power said, “It’s meant to be confidential but we’ll surely find out sooner or later just how much Tiger’s todger has cost him! However much it is, he’s looks sure to be picked by Corey Pavin to be on the first tee for the Ryder Cup and maybe this is the closure he needs to get back to winning ways”.
How much did Elin settle for?
- 3/1 Less than $150 million
- 5/2 $150 to $250 million
- 10/3 $251 to $350 million
- 9/2 $351 to $450 million
- 10/3 $451 to $550 million
- 4/1 $551 to $650 million
- 5/1 $651 to $750 million
- 9/1 More than $750 million
- 1/50 To be a wild card pick for US Ryder Cup team
Tiger’s next Major Championship win?
- 7/2 2011 US Masters
- 8/1 2011 US Open
- 14/1 2011 Open Championship
- 25/1 2011 USPGA
How many majors will Tiger win in 2011?
- 2/5 None
- 2/1 One
- 11/1 Two
- 40/1 Three
- 80/1 Four
