Tottenham backed for Champions League victory
Tottenham take to the Champions League stage tomorrow evening against Swiss side Young Boys and Sky Bet have seen over twenty-times as many bets on Spurs to claim victory than their opponents. Tottenham are 8/11 to win the first leg at the Stade de Suisse (7/2 Young Boys and 9/4 Draw) and Sky Bet customers are not only backing them to claim victory but to win comfortably with Spurs 2-0 (15/2) and 3-0 (14/1) proving popular.
Should Tottenham progress past Young Boys, Sky Bet make the Group Stages the most likely round that Spurs will be eliminated (6/4). It`s 9/4 that Spurs` European campaign comes to an end at the Last 16 stage, 8/1 the quarter-finals and 16/1 the semi-finals. 33/1 is on offer for Harry Redknapp`s men to lose in the final and it`s 40/1 for Tottenham to go on to European glory.
It`s 5/2 for Spurs to progress further than their rivals Arsenal (2/7).
Sky Bet`s Tim Reynolds said: "Tottenham shouldn`t have any problems progressing past Young Boys but we`ll be hoping that the Swiss side can at least hold out for a draw with home advantage."
