Following the news that Fernando Torres is staying at Anfield, Sky Bet make the Spanish international 5/6 to score 20 or more league goals during the 2010/11 season (5/6 19 or fewer). The 26-year-old had been linked with a big-money move to Manchester City and Chelsea but has now publicly said that he is committed to the club and fans and is looking forward to working under new manager Roy Hodgson.
It`s 10/1 for Torres to be named the PFA Player of the Year in the 2010/11 season and 7/1 he`s the Premier League`s top goalscorer.
Sky Bet`s spokesman Tim Reynolds said: "This is great news for all Liverpool fans and it proves how much Roy Hodgson is respected as a manager. The only thing now to be sorted is the sale of the club and if that can be done prior to the transfer window closing, Liverpool could once again be a top four club."
