£1 million totejackpot pool expected at Newcastle this afternoon

The totejackpot pool is expected to hit £1 million today at Newcastle with a rollover of £460,352 after punters failed to land the bet at Southwell last night.

The Jackpot has rolled over since it was last won on Monday 26th July at Yarmouth where it paid £2,422 to a £1 stake. The bet eluded punters throughout Glorious Goodwood and the rollover has continued well into this week.

`Punters have two chances to land a cool £1 million with totepool this week as not only will the Scoop6 smash through the seven figure barrier on Saturday but the jackpot is also expected to reach that sum at Newcastle this afternoon,` said totepool spokesman George Primarolo.

The biggest ever totejackpot dividend was £510,955.60 to a £1 stake at Aintree on 4th April 2008. Previously, the biggest dividend had been £494,880 to a £1 stake which was returned at Newmarket on 3rd October 2003.
