Bookies Running Scared Of JP’s Lethal Weapon – Galway Latest

Paddy Power are bracing themselves to get spectacularly whacked tomorrow if JP McManus’ Lethal Weapon lives up to his name and wins the Guinness Galway Hurdle.
The five year old has been backed off the boards with punters seeing his price plummet from an opening 25/1 to 8/1 joint second favourite.
A Lethal Weapon victory with champion jockey Tony McCoy on board could leave Paddy Power with a €500,000 hole in their pockets!
Speaking from the race course, Paddy Power said: “This one is showing all the signs of a classic JP gamble and let’s face it, owned by JP, trained by Christy Roche and ridden by McCoy is definitely a lethal combination never mind a Lethal Weapon!”
Other selections well fancied with the punters include favourite English raider Overturn at 7/1 and last years winner, the locally owned Bahrain Storm at 10/1.
