Sky Bet have eased Steven Gerrard`s odds of moving to Real Madrid to 5/2 (from evens) following reports from Spain that Real have ruled out a move for England`s World Cup captain due to Liverpool`s evaluation.
Gerrard`s future has been subject to speculation after Liverpool failed to qualify for the Champions League and after comments from Jose Mourinho prior to the World Cup that he would like to secure the services of the Liverpool captain, it looked as if Gerrard could be on his way to Spain.
Sky Bet`s Andy Clarke said: "Bronzetti`s quotes appear to rule out a move but things can change very quickly and if Gerrard wants to go then Liverpool may be forced to lower their asking price."
In the other transfer betting news, Cesc Fabregas remains at 1/8 to sign for Barcelona following pictures of the Arsenal captain wearing a Barcelona shirt. Fabregas was celebrating with his Spanish teammates when Carles Puyol and Gerard Pique forced Fabregas to briefly wear the Barca shirt.
