You Bet Record Temperature Level Will Be Broken This Year
WILLIAM HILL have slashed their odds for the UK temperature to hit 100F or more from 5/1 to 4/1 as temperatures soared over the weekend. And Hills have also cut their odds for a new UK record temperature of 101.4 or higher to be set during 2010 from 10/1 to 8/1 as the country sizzled.
But Hills have also cut their odds that the highest temperature recorded this weekend will turn out to be the hottest of the year from 16/1 to 12/1. `Some punters believe this early heat-wave presages a record breaking summer, others that it is just a one-off freak in a below average summer` said Hill`s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
