Phew - odds for new record UK temperature slashed...........

WILLIAM HILL are offering 5/1 that the UK temperature will hit 100F at any time during 2010 - and 10/1 that the all time UK record of 101.3F will be broken. Hills also offer 16/1 that this weekend`s highest temperature will not be beaten for the rest of 2010.
`If the evidence of this weekend`s scorching temperatures are any indication, we could be In for a record breaking summer` said William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe, `Weather punters certainly hope so, and we have had to slash the odds for a new UK record temperature from 33/1 at the start of the year to 10/1.`
