RED IS THE COLOUR!
Racegoers at this year`s Cheltenham Festival will see a dynamic new look for totepool staff working on-course, with a return of the striking red colour that remains a central part of the Tote`s iconic brand.
The `Ladies in Red` will be a reminder of a bygone era for many racegoers, but the new uniform for totepool staff is a stylish and contemporary take on this. Different variations have been created for each set of employees; from supervisors to couriers, operators and technicians.
The theme is a distinctive black and red and will create a highly visible image that will help racegoers easily identify totepool staff to place their bets.
It is further evidence of the Tote`s commitment to modernising in its operations on-course and is the latest initiative to come out of the racecourse partnership programme, which was launched last year.
This latest six-figure investment will see the new uniforms, which have been designed and produced by Staffwear, rolled out at all courses nationwide from the Cheltenham Festival onwards.
`We`re delighted to be launching our new-look uniform at the Cheltenham Festival,` said totepool Managing Director David Craven. `It`s vitally important that our staff are easily identifiable at the races and the new attire is both striking and stylish.`
David Craven added: `This investment is further evidence of the Tote`s commitment to the partnership programme with racecourses as we embrace change and ensure that the Tote continues to be recognised as racing`s cornerstone betting partner.`
To celebrate the launch of the new-look uniform at this year`s Cheltenham Festival, the Tote will be rewarding their customers with a fantastic free bet giveaway. Any Cheltenham racegoer who backs the first horse at the Festival to carry red silks to victory will be rewarded with a free £2 bet to spend on the next race.
So totepool customers could have even more reason to be cheering on the likes of Tataniano, Celestial Halo, Kalahari King, Big Buck`s and Cooldine in the big races at this year`s Festival!
